As we close out 2025, we’re taking a moment to look back at what has been one of our most transformative years yet. A year defined by smarter automation, deeper personalization, and powerful new tools that helped our customers operate faster, scale easier, and deliver better experiences to their viewers.

We’re looking back at what we achieved this year and how our products and features evolved. Some updates were small but meaningful improvements that made daily workflows smoother, while others were game changers that introduced new and improved ways for our customers to manage, deliver, and monetize content.

This year, we leveraged AI to make content management faster, smarter, and more intuitive for our customers with our Generative AI-powered Enrichment Suite. This includes automating tedious tasks to providing deeper insights into content performance, and our AI-driven updates transformed the way teams manage and navigate content.

At the heart of this suite, the LLM Enrichment Meta-Service and AI Online Sentiment Pulse are core services of Tucano, Alpha Networks’ modular, resilient backend platform that aggregates, enriches, monetizes, and distributes video content seamlessly.  

The LLM Enrichment Meta-Service blended automatic audio transcription with generative intelligence to repair and enrich metadata at scale (summaries, highlights, editorial tags, multilingual metadata), all of which are critical for CMS efficiency, video content metadata automation, and global SEO.

To match this, AI Online Sentiment Pulse mapped real-time audience and critic sentiment into actionable metadata: rankings, discovery paths, and mood-driven tags. A powerful boost for content discovery engines and UX personalization.

Together, these tools activated catalogs, reduced editorial workload, and powered richer, more human content journeys for viewers.

2025 marked a major milestone with DeltaUX reaching full production maturity. A premium front-end solution running on Gecko, our advanced video streaming platform that manages everything from content aggregation and delivery to the front-end application itself. DeltaUX enables content providers to deliver fully personalized streaming experiences across all use cases. It now supports hundreds of live channels, an advanced EPG grid, and enhanced live features, while pushing customization further through rich editorial pages that elevate content presentation and discovery.

In 2025, delivery and monetization evolved side by side, aligning performance, protection, and revenue at scale.

Our Live 2 VOD feature, part of our Tucano Media Services, made live events instantly monetizable, while multi-DRM improvements (supporting Widevine, PlayReady, and FairPlay), safeguarded premium content without compromising playback performance. Tucano Media Services are powered by Alpha Networks’ Tucano Media Workflow and a strong partner ecosystem including Bitmovin, Broadpeak, Irdeto, Akamai, and Cognacq-Jay Image (CJI).

On the monetization side, Gecko enabled smarter revenue strategies through advanced Server-Side Ad Insertion (SSAI) and dynamic ad placement. Advertisers benefited from precise targeting, serving the right ad to the right user at the right time, and helping platforms increase fill rates and revenue while supporting hybrid monetization models that combine subscriptions, advertising, and transactional access.

As our customers expanded globally, our products evolved to match:

• Advanced analytics, part of Tucano’s Experience module, now includes a Raw Data Export feature, enabling direct ingestion into Business Intelligence (BI) platforms and serving as a strategic tool for enterprise data-driven decisions.
• Enterprise capabilities such as SSO, fine-grained User Segmentation, and webhooks for CRM integration improve operational control and streamline integrations across regions.
• Admin workflows were simplified with a redesigned Admin UI App Settings Overhaul, making configuration faster and more intuitive.
• Multi-country deployments and resilient architecture ensure growth without friction.

As 2025 comes to a close, it’s incredible to reflect on what we’ve achieved. From AI that transforms content into actionable insights, to smarter delivery and seamless experiences for viewers, every update tells a story of innovation in action.
