Can’l has selected Alpha Networks to launch its OTT Platform with new Catch-up services

Can’l, the second major telecom operator in New Caledonia has selected global-scale video software provider Alpha Networks to launch an enriched version of its OTT platform including catch-up services.

The new video service is expected to significanltly improve the user experience for the subscribers by increasing the quantity of available content while simultaneously extending the device coverage with new mobile apps.

Can’l will benefit of Alpha Networks’ Tucano video software and Gecko white-label front-end applications.

By ensuring metadata aggregation from over 40 channels Can’l subscribers will enjoy a premium catch-up experience with content coming from French broadcasters and premium worldwide thematic channels.

Features related to the service cover time–shift, easy acces to specific catalogs sorted by categories and most watched programs.

Can’l up-to-date complete video platform will allow a simple integration of different types of content (Live, VOD, Catch-up and EPG) and offer a unified experience on different devices including Set-top-boxes and OTT applications.
